Database Development
All works and documents belonging to the Foundation are in the process of being catalogued in a database, which is available at the Kurt Schwitters Archive in the Sprengel Museum, Hanover. In October 2013 nearly the entire inventory was recorded:
Reproductions
There is an ongoing process of creating reproducible images of items from the collection; these can be requested from the bpkBILDAGENTUR in Berlin [bpkBILDAGENTUR].

All works and documents belonging to the Foundation are in the process of being catalogued in a database, which is available at the Kurt Schwitters Archive in the Sprengel Museum, Hanover. In October 2013 nearly the entire inventory was recorded:
- all works by Kurt Schwitters
- approximately 3,100 photographic works by Ernst Schwitters; the digitalisation of large groups of works (black and white negatives and small format slides)
- all works from the Ernst Schwitters Collection and the works from Kurt Schwitters’s former Merz Collection (112 works)
- the correspondence from Kurt Schwitters (525 letters by Kurt Schwitters; approx. 1,200 letters to Kurt Schwitters), and family correspondence (approx. 700 letters).
- the literary manuscripts by Kurt Schwitters (approx. 600 documents)
