The
Schwitters family literary estate includes correspondence from both artists
(including approximately 400 letters by Kurt Schwitters), manuscripts of literary
and typographic works, and numerous other writings such as notebooks or musical
notation. The collection of documents is complemented by family photographs and the family library, as well as some furniture from the Hanover house (known as the “Biedermeier Room”).
